Superb restoration of a 1971 Honda CT70. This is one awesome machine…..the heartbeat has been upgraded to a brand new LIFAN 125cc 4 speed automatic motor. Nothing was spared on this restoration, it is absolutely beautiful !!! All parts that needed to be replaced were NOS Honda parts or exact reproductions. This is basically a brand new CT70…..again with the exception of the power-plant…..which gives this bike the edge over any CT70 pit bike or trail rider out there. Imagine bombing around the moto-cross pits, your retirement community, your campground or around town…..this thing moves and turns heads at every stop !! It is street legal and currently registered, plated and on the road. One kick and she fires right up…..super smooth, super reliable…..everything works and is 100% on this bike. In the winter months, this bike sits on display in my office……let me tell you…..my employees and clients can’t stop talking about or checking out this piece of Honda history. Mon, 14 Oct 2013Honda Project Leader Shunji Yokokawa's first Honda bike was a CB900, which he got when he was a teenager after seeing Freddie Spencer wheeling his way down the Laguna's Corkscrew.Yokokawa has been in the States himself recently, having travelled to the Bonneville Salt Flats to break a world land speed record for a stock 600cc motorcycle.According to the Southern California Timing Association website (you'd have thought the video might have mentioned something about the record?), Shunji was successful in his attempt during August's 'Speed Week', setting an official speed of 170.828mph onboard a CBR600RR.

Mon, 15 Apr 2013BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
