Thank you for viewing this amazingly rare 1971 Honda CT70 with 4672 actual original miles since new! This bike is very nice and runs great. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage for the duration of its life. This is a all original clean non restored bike. I don't have a title, but have had it checked by the DMV and it would be no problem getting. Additionally, I have a bill of sale. The paint and decals are in decent condition. The chrome is in decent condition with some small pits. Muffler is cracked, seat has a tear, all lights work. Horn and blinker work. This is a very clean bike. I will ship this item. I use Fastenal and you will have to pick it up at the nearest location to your address. There are many around the US. Just Google it. It will cost an additional $150 for shipping (Its already factored into the sale price). I will shrink wrap, bubble wrap, turn gas off and lay on its side on a pallet. Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
Day 4 Dakar 2014: Juan Pedrero Wins Stage Aboard Sherco
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.
