I have for sale my 1988 Honda CR 250R. I have owned it for 20 years. It was always in this condition. I recently purchased new vintage graphics and did a restoration on the engine with a new top end and clean the power values. The rear tire is new and the CDI box and coil have been replaced. It comes with a pro circuit header pipe and all suspension fluid has been serviced. New chain guard and front caliper seals replaced. I have also replaced the clutch cable and new chain. Furthermore the rear wheel bearings and swing arm bearings have been replaced as well. It truly is in great shape and will make a a lot of heads turn for a vintage motocross bike ready to ride. Parrish's predictions for Silverstone MotoGP
Fri, 18 Jun 2010I'm at Silverstone for the British MotoGP and Steve Parrish spoke to us all about his predictions for the podium. Parrish has gone for Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa to take the top three spots and spray the bubbly at the end of the race. Not too sure on his call though as I think Dani will be riding on a high after winning at Mugello and surely the speedy Spaniard will take full advantage and wring the neck of the Honda at the (supposedly) high speed Silverstone Circuit.
Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year. The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Indianapolis Results
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Six more rounds remain in the 2012 AMA Supercross season and the championship is more or less decided. The first third of the season was a thrilling four-man fight for the title. The middle of the season saw contenders drop like flies and now, what looked to be a dramatic battle for the title is shaping up to be a second consecutive AMA Supercross Championship for Ryan Villopoto.
