I restored this CR500 with all new parts: cables, levers, chain and sprockets; new Dunlop Sports K695 tires, plastic. Engine is rebuilt with new clutch, top end, crank bearings and seals. Front forks are rebuilt. Starts easily and pulls very strong. I have put about 20 minutes of riding time on this CR500 since restoration. I bobbed the rear fender a bit. Bike can be picked up in Huntsville Alabama or I will ship anywhere in the USA for $300 to $400, depending on your location. call Charlie at 256 698 1422 for questions. Mon, 05 May 2014Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recall Affects 6,954 Units in US
Mon, 10 Mar 2014As we expected following similar recalls in Australia and Japan, American Honda has announced a recall campaign on the 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R because of a risk of oil leaking from the engine. The recall affects 6,954 units in the U.S. including ABS and non-ABS models.
