Honda CH150D description

Due to losing dry storage space, we're looking to find our Elite a new home. We acquired this bike about three years ago with about 1300 miles. We have always considered this example to be an extremely reliable daily rider. During our ownership, we have replaced several maintenance items and have upgraded several components to improve performance and overall reliability. These items include:

-New Bridgestone MOLAS-9 Tires (3.5-10)

-New brake shoes, front and rear

-Upgraded to CH250 carburetor with the appropriate jetting

-UNI pod filter

-Governor removed from exhaust

-New clutch assembly

-Racing variator, drive face

-Dr. Pulley slider weights

With the upgrades, top speed has increased by over 10mph. Highway acceleration and pull is more than adequate. However, I wouldn't recommend prolonged highway use, as the braking system overheats quickly while at speed. Otherwise, drivability is for the most part, unchanged. Aside from what's listed above, the bike is original and unchanged.

We're not in a huge hurry to move this bike on, so we don't mind waiting for the right buyer. The scooter is also listed locally, so we reserve the right to terminate the auction prior to ending. Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.

Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
