Honda CBX description

2013 Honda CB1000R limited production Italian designed and built. Honda designs and builds this model in their Italy factory and only imports 250 units into the US each year) with over $5,000 in upgrades including Leo Vince Titanium exhaust, PowerCommander V, GPR steering damper, Givi side panniers and 840 gentle miles.
Here are the modifications I’ve made or had installed at a local Honda dealer:
-Leo Vince Factory R E-Approved EVO II Slip On Titanium Exhaust (better fuel economy & acceleration)
-Leo Vince Kit Link Pipe eliminating the Kat (removed huge catalytic converter square box below) – these two items alone saves 35-40 pounds of curb weight off of the bike and adds 20 percent more horsepower & torque
-Power Commander V + Dyno Tune @ Marietta Motorsports
-ASV C5 Adjustable Lever Set – Black Long (much nicer than standard OEMs that come with the bike)
-Rizoma Lux Grips (much more comfortable than the rubber OEMs that come with the bike)
-HID Xenon H4 Headlight (much better line of sight; also others can see you much better)
-Leo Vince Carbon Clutch + Pick Up cover, Carbon Alternator cover, Carbon Rear Hugger Mudguard
-Light Smoked Tail Light LED with Integrated Turn Signals (no need for turn signals or the goofy extended fender in the back)
-R&G Aero Frame Sliders (stronger one piece of steel that goes right through the frame)
-R&G Fork Protectors
-Tail Tidy LED Fender Eliminator
-Hornet White Belly Pan (One UK-based company makes these to covers the inline 4 pipes for a much cleaner / elegant look)
-PUIG Naked Fly Screen (windshield)
-GPR Stabilizer Steering Damper (have not installed yet)
-Set of Givi Saddle Bags & Mounting Bracket for CB1000R
-Givi Tank Bag Adapter
-Water-jet Brushed Stainless Honda Wings Keychain

Mugen entered the Shinden at last year’s TT Zero, with Isle of Man veteran John McGuinness finishing second with an average speed of 102.215 mph. Team Mugen managed to break the 100mph barrier but fell short to the race winner Michael Rutter who rode the MotoCzysz E1PC.

WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.

Riding The Arctic Circle…On A Honda C90

Tue, 21 May 2013

Ed March isn’t your typical motorcyclist. He chose to take a motorcycle journey to the Arctic Circle in the dead of winter. While many people would consider this a crazy idea in itself, March’s choice of motorcycle — a Honda C90 — will probably shock many more.
