97% original condition and look except the following: -rear wheel is a 16" for bigger tire -mirrors (correct look) -upper brake line is braided -Tank and Side covers have been repainted, but Correct Sunflake Orange VMR paint 39k miles runs great Carbs ultrasonic cleaned and synced Good tires New gas cap, New tank and sidecover emblems and jewels The rest of the bike is original condition and shows signs of its age, including minor oil leak around the headgasket which is very common. A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
Aspar MotoGP Team Reveals Honda RCV1000R Livery
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Team Aspar revealed its new livery for its Honda RCV1000R racebikes. The team revealed the silver and green livery in Malaysia, where riders Nicky Hayden and Hiroshi Aoyama will join the rest of the MotoGP grid in preseason test at the Sepang circuit. The colors represent the Malaysian energy drink manufacturer Drive M7 which signed a three-year deal to be the team’s title sponsor.
