ALL ORIGINAL COMPLETE HONDA C70 1980 MOTORCYCLE STEP THROUGH SCOOTER. HAS BEEN STORED BY MY FATHER CAREFULLY FOR MANY YEARS. 2ND OWNER. HAD TUNE UP AND ALL NEW BULBS BEFORE LAST STORAGE 2 YEARS AGO. HAS NOT BEEN RUN SINCE. 6 VOLT SYSTEM. NEWER BATTERY STORED INDOORS. 3 SPEED MANUAL. THERE ARE THE EXTRA OPTIONAL FRONT AND REAR RACKS. ALL THE PLASTIC FENDERS AND COVERS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. SOME OIL STAINING AROUND BOTTOM OF FRONT HOUSING. NO TEARS IN SEAT. ALL CHROME HAS SOME LIGHT PITTING AND RUSTING. PAINT HAS SOME WEAR AND LIGHT RUST. MANUFACTURED ON 4-30-1980. Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
