Harley-Davidson Touring description

One of a Kind Harley Davidson 1967 fl electraglide touring. The motor is a 98 inch pan shovel with a std case. Best of everything. The rotating assembly is all s&s and the carburetor is a zipper s&s super d with a thunder jet. The heads are completely ported and polished with stainless oversized diamond race valves.  Valve train is from crane, harley and s&s, roller lifters are crane. Cam is a Andrews.  Motor was assembled by Rodger at R&E in Santa Clara CA. Headers are one off custom.  Custom new wiring harness. Ignition is electronic. runs great and reliable.

Inner primary is all primo with a bdl belt dry system. Transmission is a revtech 5 speed. All the black on the bike was powder coated. Has original front end on it. Rim on front is a 21 inch. Stock drum is used with all new parts.

Rear drum was replaced with disk from newer shovel. Still has original round swingarm. Rear rim is stock. Everthing on this bike has been replaced or rebuilt. Have over 200 pictures of entire restoration. Have all receipts for work done.

Paint is 2011 lamborgini gold. (giallo flash yellow from house of color). Seat is original pan and reupholstered. Pogo was rebuilt. Has passenger seat as well. Painstakingly restored over 5 years classic show harley.

Bike has less than 200 miles on it.

ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters.  First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.

The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.
