Harley-Davidson Touring description

This 2012 Harley Street Glide started out life as a bone stock  Black Street Glide. When the bike had roughly 4500 miles it was involved in a minor accident which damaged the front inner and outer fairing, forks, front fender, one saddle bag . There was absolutely no damage to the frame or drivetrain.

I purchased it direct through an insurance company , brought it home and went to work. It's got an American Suspension neck and triple tree kit built to clear the 26" front wheel. The neck kit is completely bolt on with no cutting, welding or fabrication required at all. The inner and outer fairings are brand new from Harley, tank is original, both fenders and saddle bags are Baddad out of Indiana. The front wheel is the 26" built by SMT Machining and the rear wheel is stock Harley . The handle bars are 10" chrome Paul Yaffe Monkey Bars all internally wired with all stainless braided cables and Arlen Ness grips. It has D&D 2 into 1 exhaust with the loud baffles. The stereo is a Kenwood Excelon with a Biketronics module so the handle bar controls work and Kicker 5.25" speakers. It's painted Kodiak brown and it really sparkles in the sun. It gets compliments everywhere it goes.

I can more than likely help with shipping for a fee to anywhere in the continental US, just let me know where you are and I'll get you a price. If you have any questions or concerns  shoot me an email. Thank you

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
