This is a 1974 HD 1200cc Sportster. It runs great, shifts fine and can be ridden as is or used as a basis for a unique build of your own liking!! Think of it as a lump of clay that you can mold any way you desire!!

Performance enhancements include:engine rebuild using S&S Carburetor, S&S air cleaner, S&S crank shaft, .030 over pistons, complete gasket set, S&S cams, S&S quad plug Heads, drag exhaust, electronic ignition, new primary, new clutch assembly.

It needs, forks seals, forward controls/ switches. Shift linkage is sloppy but the tranny is solid.. All in all its a bit of a project but has 1 HELL of an engine!!

Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie

From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. Of course, if you’ve been following Motorcycle.com for a while you’ll have known this already, as we brought you the scoop about Livewire.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
