Selling my 2014 HD 1200. 12XX miles. Still under warranty. Properly maintained and extremely low miles. Always uses premium gas and was broken in slowly and lovingly. HD special "candy custom" chrome flake paint on the tank (gets compliments every ride). My crappy pictures don't do this bike justice; come look at it! Asking $8250 which is below book and retail value. Will entertain all offers so make me a fair offer and it's yours. MSRP new was $11,000. Upgraded to Vance and Hines exhaust (sound amazing). Bike also has the paint protect package so the paint shines like brand new! Happy to trailer and deliver to the greater Denver area for free if you're interested. New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
