Harley-Davidson Sportster description

A wide front end and chunky stock 16" tire gives the new Sportster 1200 Custom a stron and contemporary stance.  It features plenty of all the trademark Harley amenities, including new wheels, a pull-back handlebar and a reshaped LED tail lamp. All these elements give the Sportster 1200 Custom an exciting new look that should be eye candy to a lot of riders. The headlamp offers a reshaped classic Sportster "eyebrow" look while the tail light comes with a new shape that features a bright, low maintenance LED element.  The pull back handlebar, a critical piece of Harley's design engineering, is mounted on a curved riser that likewise incorporates an LED warning light display.  In terms of powertrain, the Sportster 1200 Custom is far from a pushover, thanks to a mighty and rubber mounted 1200cc Evolution V-Twin powetrain with electronic sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) and mated to a five-speed transmission. This is an actual 1500 mile 2012 1200 Custom Sportster shown in the classiest Marlot  Color. This has been maintained by Harley Davidson, All accessories are from the Harley Davidson Dealer.Don't let this one get away!  Milege will change due to local weekend rides.

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
