Harley-Davidson Sportster description

The 2011 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® Forty-Eight™ XL1200X is one of the garage custom motorcycles in the Harley Dark Custom™ line. This bike cruises down the road with a 1,200 cc Evolution® engine – an engine with a true Harley-Davidson soul. The Forty-Eight also has an authentic peanut tank which first appeared on Harley-Davidson back in 1948 (its name origin) and has been a defining Sportster feature ever since. The front end of the bike looks beefy with its fat MT90 tire. The Harley Sportster Forty-Eight look is enhanced with the lowered front and rear suspension. Add a low seat height, and you have a serious looking motorcycle with an approachable riding stance. Take sometime and look over the features of this Harley Dark Custom, including the unique under-mount motorcycle mirrors, blacked out handlebars, controls, shocks, blinkers, head light, lower fork legs, fender struts, air cleaner and more!

This 2011 Harley-Davidson XL1200X Forty-Eight with 6,447 miles is one sharp looking ride. The Sedona Orange Peanut  Tank really stands out against the sea of black found all over this bike. The solo seat, forward controls and low slung handle bar make for a very comfortable riding postion for cruising around town or blasting along your favorite back roads. The fuel injected 1200 motor backed by a 5 speed transmission has all the power you will need for all day cruising. We have looked this bike over from top to bottom and it needs nothing but a new owner. The only thing we could find is 3 or 4 very faint scratches on the rear fender behind the seat. This Forty-Eight runs, rides, shifts and looks awesome. Call us today at 800-807-9910 with any questions or to buy this Harley today! Check our feedback and bid with Confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck!
