Up for auction is a 2009 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Nighster with 11,912 miles. The bike is 100% stock in mint condition and is ready to ride. Everything is in excellent condition and it runs and drives perfectly, great tires, orange and black paint scheme, electric start, V-twin air cooled, 9.7:1 compression, 1200cc, 5 speed belt drive, hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, 60" wheelbase, bright lights, smoked signals, and very comfortable. 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.

Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
