1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1000 XLH, 1977 HD Sporster 1000cc runs great. Must sell due to health reasons. Been stored but maintained. Started often to keep fluids fresh. Many custom improvements. Fatbob style 4gal gas tank. Fatbob style rear fender. Can no longer clutch her often with arthritis in thumb. If I wasn't inflicted I would love to keep her. Must see to appreciate. Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
Harley-Davidson and Best Western Expand Partnership
Wed, 20 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson and Best Western have announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will now expand beyond North America. The two companies have been working together since 2006, providing benefits to customers of both brands. Under the new agreement, Best Western becomes the official lodging partner of Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations as well as the preferred lodging partner of Harley-Davidson’s rentals and tours division.
