We are selling a custom 1976 Ironhead Sportster Harley Davidson. The following has been done on the bike.

Frame powder coated.

New paint job on all tin.

Drag Specialties dual front disc brake system.

Drag Specialties rear disc brake system.

Rebuilt engine which has been bored 30 over and fully balanced. The heads have been ported and polished. The heads have also been modified so that each head has dual spark plugs. This is a common modification on these engines for better fuel burn and horse power. Horse power output is between 90 and 95hp.

New Dunlop D402 white wall tires on both front and rear.

New leather seat with springs.

S&S Super B carb is brand new condition with all new seals, gaskets, needles, springs and jets.

New fluids and filters.

Dyna S electronic ignition.

Currently registered, all wheel hubs, neck and swing arm bearings have been replaced, new battery, new custom 16ga exhaust.

Shifts perfectly, runs fantastic, original kick start bike that will drive you anywhere you want to go without fail!

The exhaust shown in the pictures was just being mocked up when the photos were taken. It is now completed.

The first picture shows the bike in full with all the mirrors, chrome chain guard etc. Only the exhaust is still in a mock up state to be final polished and coated which is now done.

LASTLY I WILL TRADING THIS BIKE FOR A HARLEY DAVIDSON VRSC/V-ROD. THIS IS THE ONLY TRADE I WILL CONSIDER.

The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year. Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
