Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Up for sale 1971 HD Ironhead bobber.  Front neck was raked a long time ago (unknown degree).  Super E shorty S&S carb all new parts inside and out except cast housing.
S&S carb manifold
new S&S spacer
Brand new battery. 
Right side shift.
New throttle cable
New throttle clamp
New throttle tube.
Tires in good shape.
Exhaust wrapped
Clean and clear title!!
no blinkers and headlight didn't turn on.  Rear turns on with switch. Has good compression. 

Needs carb to be tuned, brakes to be gone through, and new hand grips.  
This only needs very little to be a runner.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
