Due to a tragic illness, we are selling this 2008 Cross Bones.This belongs to one of the east coasts most well known builders,Lew Jolly. Unfortunately,Lew is in a long recovery and riding is not an option at this time. This is truly a one of a kind opportunity. It is a 103" motor with Wiseco pistons, 577 Red Shift cams,ported heads,30 tooth front pulley,Thundermax with autotune ECU,Bassani Pro street pipes,ARP studs and nuts and tons of custom features. This was his personal ride and everything was done by him so you know it's right.I have seen this bike go around and pull away from big motor bikes owned by other techs and make it look easy. It's high compression but blueprinted so the combination starts with no compression releases. Hand painted lettering done by Lew himself.Been back and forth to New Hampshire twice and climbed Mt. Washington with no issues what so ever. Beat the bar hoppers with an everyday rider. This is his last street ready bike left in his stable. Triple digits in torque and horsepower. Harley-Davidson announced the new Street 750 will appear in Marvel Comics’ movie “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” set to hit theaters April 4, 2014. Wed, 27 Jul 2011Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
