Harley-Davidson Softail description

This 2003 Anniversary edition Harley-Davidson Fatboy has been completely customized and looks awesome, sounds awesome, and runs perfectly.  I am the original owner and I've barely ridden it (only 4100 miles) although it's so much fun to ride!  I've kept it covered and serviced it meticulously.  It was recently serviced and has a brand new battery.

Just about everything was customized and every accessory with the exception of the grips, pipes (Cycle Shack), and the custom seat are authentic Harley chrome and Harley accessories.  The bike was also custom painted by the renowned Rock N Roll Custom Paintworks in Orange, CA.  The paint color is candy purple and it has an Om symbol painted on the gas tank.  The Om symbol is also embroidered into the custom seat.  If you're into Harleys and yoga and/or spirituality, this bike is perfect for you.  If you're just into the most incredible looking and performing Harley but the Om symbol isn't your thing, you can swap it out after you become this baby's owner.

I have over $34,000 invested into this bike so good luck bidding and have an awesome time with this bike!  The photos show the bike with the sissy bar (backrest) on, but it is of course removable.

Winning bid will require $1,000 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of closing bid.  Within 7 days of closing bid, final payment to be made in cash.  Bike to be picked up in Los Angeles or shipped at your expense.

Who To Watch In The AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series is set to kick off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway, and the competition looks set to be as close as ever. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
