I've managed to become owner of one too many bikes. Other priorities have come to the forefront so now one has to go. I'm regretfully putting up for bid my 100th anniversary gunmetal pearl blue harley davidson heritage softail springer flstsi (fuel injected). Currently has a low 12457 miles on it. Always garage kept and serviced at the Harley dealership. Tires are still really great. Battery less than a year old. Far as I can tell this thing is still bone stock which is what I prefer when buying a used bike but to each their own. You probably already know that gunmetal pearl was the rarest of the Anniversary colors- only 429 of them were made. Not sure what else to say at this time. Bike runs out strong and has yet to give me any trouble. It's not quite perfect but it's awfully close. Can only find 2 small scratches on the thing. Both on the rear fender with the worst one being up where somebody got a little rough taking the passenger seat on/off. Really cool bike. Definitely a head turner. Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.

Tue, 18 Oct 2011As expected, Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $183.6 million over the third quarter ended Sept. 25, 2011, a 106% increase from the $88.8 million reported in the same quarter of 2010. Harley-Davidson reported sales revenue of $1.23 billion, a 13.4% increase from the $1.09 billion reported in the same quarter of 2010.
