Paughco frame, custom made springer, custom tank, Art Deco styling based off old 1920's - 30's steam trains, cast aluminum primary, everything one off, cast aluminum oil tank, 1880's Cuban door knocker bronze cast hand jockey shift, split tank, 21" black powder coated custom front wheel from Bob's Cycle in Arizona, spool front wheel 21" Avon, 16" tractor implement tire DOT speed rated, custom seat with ribs that match tire treads, intakes that run through the tank, custom one off brake and clutch pedal, crazy exhaust, custom risers, cast oil tank. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping. Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Labor Day weekend 2014, the place for Harley-Davidson fans to be is at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350
Tue, 29 Nov 2011The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
