Up for sale is one of the sweetest bikes Big Dog ever put out....2004 Big Dog Chopper! This sled is top shelf from top to bottom. It all starts with an S&S 107 inch motor (1750cc) and like you would expect it is all chromed out. The custom air filter directs the life-blood of air to a S&S Super G carb.
The huge rear tire can take every bit of power this engine pumps out. The bike needs nothing, except a rider. The vivid black paint shines, as does the custom one piece alum wheels. The chrome sissy bar gives this ride that old school look everyone is wanting now, plus added neon green LED lights. It also has a passenger pad that mounts on the rear fender with suction cups, and yes....it is very secure. If you are looking for a low miles bike (12,350) and have always wanted to own one of these beasts....well now is your chance! I bought this ride in 2011 from the original owner with 10,000 miles on it. That means I've only put a little over 2,000 on it in the last 5 yrs. and that's because I have other bikes I ride more. When this bike was sold new it cost around $25,000. It has a brand new battery and a clear and clean title. It is always covered in the garage. Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
European-Spec 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Getting Twin-Cooled Engine
