Up for your consideration is a nicely rebuilt 1978 Harley that I went through last winter. The bike was a low mile custom when I picked it up for the rebuild and was still on the standard bore. It is now freshened up with a .010 over bore, new valves, Andrews B cam, an S&S oil pump and Super E carb. I also went through the transmission and everything else on the bike so it runs, rides and stops like it should. 3" Primo belt drive and kick only and to the retro look of this cool old Shovel head, and you just don't see many rolling around anymore. In honor of this, Harley has announced that seven of its standard models will receive special 110th anniversary badging, and have a limited production run. In addition to these seven, three of the four 2013 CVO models we recently reviewed are available with optional 110th Anniversary badging and color schemes.
Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.

Fri, 26 Jun 2009Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not. We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump.
