First and most important is PATINA. This is not a show bike. It is a 1977 Shovelhead FXE that is ridden. It gets looks everywhere you go. Looks great and sounds great. It has original wear and tare. IF YOU WANT A SHOW BIKE THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. This is the bike I personally ride. It is set up for me the way I like it. Panhead hinged fender with emblem on rear. FLH front fender and rim. Early tank emblems. Solo seat. B carb etc. I have a Super E for it if you want. I have three seats, fenders, original grips, etc that can go with it. The stator, coil, clutch, tires, points, plugs and battery are new last year. Oil cooler and filter set up with new lines. Oil pressure is 40 to 60 lbs. #'s matching with clear title in my name. Bike must be paid for in 7 days. You must contact me within 24 hrs of buying. Free storage is no problem until you pick it up BUT the bike must be paid for first. Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
