Harley-Davidson Other description

This bike has been completely redone from the ground up. To the best of our knowledge it had 14k miles prior to the rebuild and has only accumulated 3603 miles since then, only 400 of them in the last 2 years. It had all new internals put in the engine and transmission and a clutch. It has a paint bubble on right side tank with picture provided. It also has a temperamental electric start button. Replacing the switch did not fix it and the starter is good so it is believed to be a minor wire issue.

It has blue lights under the tank to show off the chrome that is on this bike. This bike is amazingly clean and comes with boxes of parts, pieces, and extra chrome.  It has an extra seat, sissy bar, hardbags, and a lot of duplicate parts or original parts from the bike. This bike is a true piece of history and would make anyone proud to go for a ride. The bike was quoted as being worth 13-15k with the extra parts increasing that value more.  I am setting a reserve but if bidding is going good I might pull the reserve off. I can't ride and feel this bike needs to go to someone who can appreciate what it is and can appreciate riding it.  Any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me and I will provide any and all information as accurately as possible.

Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum

Fri, 31 May 2013

On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

Wesll Quad Prototype

Mon, 09 Feb 2009

A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.

Would you pay £160,000 for this?

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

Pretty it may be, but you wouldn't catch me spending £160,000 on this 1915 Harley-Davidson 11-F Twin that's coming up for sale at a Bonhams auction. It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.
