Harley-Davidson Other description

This thing is kinda amazing... it is a stock Harley Shovelhead frame mated to a Servicar rear frame section.  The work is amazing and looks stock.  The motor is a 1967 Shovelhead that runs strong and does not smoke.  The transmission is a 3-speed with Reverse.  The primary is a stock Shovelhead primary set-up with a starter.  The tanks and front end are stock '66 Shovelhead items.  The rear end is a stock Servicar rear end with HD steel wheels.  The box appears to be a stock box that has been modified to have a second seat built in.  Also includes a tow-bar.

This bike is a one-of-a-kind.  The work is amazing and this thing runs and rides like a dream.

It is registered and titled as a 1967 FLH.

For the most part, my parts are old and used. It is the buyers responsibility to deem wether or not they believe an item is safe to use or not. If you're looking for new parts without a scratch go ahead and get with a VTwin dealer.

I try to describe the parts as best I can and provide enough pictures so that you can get a very good view of what you are buying. What you see in the photos is what get. Please take a good look and feel free to ask questions if you have them.

There is no warranty with this item.

As with all my auctions this is a NO RESERVE auction starting at $1. I don't end auctions early unless specified in the listing or unless there is a buy it now.

I will ship items ANYWHERE... I mail my items with delivery confirmation and insurance to protect both myself and the buyer. eBay shipping estimates are usually correct, but occasionally shipping cost more. Shipping expenses will be the buyers responsibility.

Buyer must pay a $1,000 DEPOSIT via Paypal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance MUST BE PAID within one week from the close of the auction either in CASH or a CASHIER'S CHECK.  I am not a professional auctioneer. I am not a superstore with a shipping department. So, please have some patience with shipping. Sometimes stuff goes out the day after its sold, but sometimes it may take a week to ship out. I appreciate your patience with this. Good luck and thanks!

This trike MUST be PICKED UP.  I will do what I can to help but I will not arrange shipment.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
