1966 FLH Harley Davidson Shovelhead Electra Glide
All matching bike, everything on this bike is 1966, except for a few bolt on items. It's a rider....Everything works!....yes even the electric start. This is a very cool period correct bike. The gentleman I bought it from had it since 1980. (36 years). It starts, runs, shifts, and stops. Motor was rebuilt by Departure bike works in Richmond Va about 5 years ago, bike has sat for awhile. Bike has a lot of factory hard to find parts on it. Look at photos carefully and make you own decision, I am no expert. Belly #s match and vin # matches title. Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?
Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
