Harley-Davidson Sprint description

1971 Harley Davidson 350 Sprint cycle up for auction. We picked a few bikes to part out but felt that this would make someone a good restoration or cafe racer project. First I do NOT have a title but can provide a bill of sale if needed. This was packed away for many years and will need the usual battery, gas, carb clean etc to get running. The engine and frame numbers do match. The engine turns over nicely and when kicked over 3 times the bike had 100 lbs compression. I did get keys for it but the ignition switch is not working properly. I did  have my brother look at the bike and he got it to fire up bypassing the ignition and a shot of carb cleaner fired it right up and the engine made no unusual noises. Bike looks to be 90% complete, taillight missing, no air cleaner. Has all the usual rust that a bike sitting has, seat is torn, tank has a couple dents. Inside the tank has light rust but is sold. This is NOT a running bike, it is a project for someone. Starting bid is the lowest I will take for the bike so please do NOT send offers!!! If it doesn't sell I will consider parting but only after listing runs its course. Please ask questions and I will try my best to answer. Local pick up is preferred, any shipping is sole responsibility of the buyer. Cash on pick up will be method of payment, a $100 deposit is required within 24 hours thru Paypal. If planning to use Paypal for full payment you will pay the extra 3% fee to use it. Anyone is welcome to come view the bike in person Monday thru Friday 10am to 5pm at 3271 Central Ave, Dubuque IA 52001

ACCEL Stealth Supercoils Now Available For Harley-Davidson Sportsters

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters.  First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.

Legends Ride Stops Sturgis Traffic

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.

Cool Products From Dealer Expo 2009

Mon, 16 Feb 2009

The best place to see the latest and greatest motorcycle gadgets and goodies before they hit the shelves of your local dealer is at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo. Unfortunately, you have to be an exhibitor, dealer or member of the media to attend. Luckily, we fall into the latter category.
