1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLT, 1000cc, Iron Head, "Baby Dresser." The bike has about 38k original mileage. Most things work on the bike as they should and it starts, idles and goes down the road well. The rear brake does not work, the tires should be replaced and there a few leaks that should be addressed. I've ridden it about 3 miles and it seems tight. You don't see many of these out there and it is a very unique design. The forward controls, the "tank lift," exhaust and the rear shocks all appear after market. Other than that, and a little Harley "bling," the bike appears original. Might as well start the auction at the reserve, $1500.00. New Indian Commercial Pokes Fun At Harley-Davidson

Earlier this year, parent company Polaris unveiled the all-new Thunderstroke 111 engine as a sneak peak to the 2014 Chief which is set to make its official debut at Sturgis at the beginning of August. To prepare for this momentous occasion, Indian produced this commercial, which takes a nice, healthy jab at the iconic Motor Company.

A Man of LOVE
Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).
