Let me introduce you to Slingshot. This custom hand built bike is low, lean and fast. Built by Dave Mizur at DeVille Cycles. Everything is detailed so nice, like the leather, the split tank and oil lines. It has disc brakes front and back. With the hard tail grafted on the bike, it sets about 4 3/4 inches off the ground. The bike runs awesome. The tank started out as a 3 gallon mustang style, then split and paneled. Transforming it into a dual gas/oil design, since there is no room for a separate oil tank. The frame is painted House of Kolor Pale Gold with some ghost gold that really sets off the bikes brass. The body is House of Kolor Blue Flake that really pops in the sun. Slingshot took it's class trophy at Daytona 2009 Rat's Hole. There is a big write up on Slingshot in Easyrider magazine April 2011 also in Bikers Life Magazine Italy. Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

Harley-Davidson to compete in Hill Climb

For the first time in the history of the World Extreme Games, in addition to skiers, snowboarders and other extreme winter sports, Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders will also start competing. The new Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb medal discipline will be introduced during the final days of the games, which will take place from January 25 to 28, 2018. Athletes will climb on motorcycles on the slope of the SuperPipe track.
