I have for sale a rare 1944 Harley Davidson Knucklehead. It is an FL, high compression model which makes it very rare and desirable. Only 174 knuckleheads were made by Harley during the war. Next to the 1943 knucklehead, this is the lowest production model Harley out there. The bike has been restored ( in 1990's) by a very good Knucklehead expert and has been stored inside a heated space since.

1944 Very rare FL High Compression bike. Was restored by Mark Wall out of Tampa “ American Motorcycle Restorations” done in late 90’s.

Bike Owned by an Attorney out of Tampa, after resto, sat in his living room for many years and bought by Mark Wall who restored the bike for the attorney and ONLY one other owner since the mid 90's other than myself. So really only a 3-4 owner bike to my knowledge.

Please see the pictures, I am not an expert on parts. I am sure there are some repop parts but as you can see this was a very high quality restoration. It was started and running last week, put 10-15 miles on it last fall. Ready to ride or add to your collection. This is a serious investment grade Knucklehead. Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
