TRUE BARN FIND TIME CAPSULE Harley 1948 F Panhead Motor 48F MATCHING CASES...... Was told only 334 of the F motors made in 1948. Rare Find Transmission Date code G 6 (July 1946) Frame is 48 original, has all markings- can send pictures if needed Top end was switched over to Shovelhead as many people did in the 70's. Bike has been untouched for over 25 years. I purchased bike from local auction. I dont know much about bike but I will do my best to get you whatever info i can. Being Sold AS-IS. Harley-Davidson Museum Opens Exhibit Commemorating History Of Company’s Anniversary Celebrations

To commemorate this event, the Harley-Davidson Museum is giving visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the design and planning process that supports its legendary anniversary celebrations in its latest exhibit, Designing a Celebration, opening Friday, Jan. 18.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule
Fri, 09 Nov 2012AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.
New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market
Mon, 09 Jan 2012In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
