This bike was originally built by the well known Dyna Specialist, Southeast Custom Cycles. Its previous owner had them build the bike and has decided to sell this to do another project. This bike rides just as sweet as it looks! The custom grey paint with retro FXR style grahics is simple and to the point. The bike was custom painted at the time of the build which was approximately 3 years ago. The paint is in exceptional condition. There is only one very small knick on the rear fender behind the right hand saddlebag.....very minor but we try to describe our bikes as accurately as possible so there are no surprises. As you can see this bike was fully loaded with all the extras to give it the perfect ride and look. The original build on this bike 3 years ago excluding the bike itself was near $8500! Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
