The following items were claimed to have been done by the prior owner

  • Re-paint was done in the early 70's. 
  • New Plugs, Points, Condenser
  • Rebuilt/new M74B Carb. 
  • New battery not filled with acid comes with the bike! 
  • Clutch Plates removed/inspected/cleaned/reinstalled! 
  • Clutch rod to Ratchet Top interfered with exhaust pipe - fixed! Clutch works/operates smoothly! 
  • Original style loom wiring replaced including spotlight/turn signals! 
  • OEM Master Cylinder
  • Rear brake cylinder and brake hose installed. 
  • New Cloth brake and clutch Cables 
  • Rebuilt ignition switch
  • Nnew Coker, Super Eagle Tread tires and tubes after truing front/rear rims. 
  • Speedometer done by Bordas replacing the glass pane with a RARE original HD Red Glass. 
  • Front fork oil, New front/rear chains
  • OEM footboard mats
  • Front and rear hubs gone thru
  • Center Stand installed
  • Front Fender Tip replaced with hard to find red insert to match the paint scheme! 

 The frame appears to be original paint, the bike has OEM Turn Signals and Spotlights, RARE Turn Signal indicators in front of the dash with the original rare Flasher! BUCO windshield and a NOS HD lower window section have been added

All hardware is Harley Davidson OEM 1038 cp. Frame is stamped as an H7 that it was made in July, 1957?

Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship

Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.

Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India

Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
