Chopper Chopper description

2012 Gravesend Cycles Custom Bobber for sale. Handmade and top of the line everything: 114" Ultima motor, six speed Ultima transmission, 3" Ultima open belt drive. This bike was the centerpiece of a four page article featured in IronWorks Magazine in July 2013 written by Copper Mike Cole. The bike features a handmade gas tank, hand tooled leather seat, Copper Mike 10" Mini Apes, Joker Machine hand controls, hand made forward controls made from antique stove handles, and custom machined revolver cylinder ChopperShox mounts under the seat. The seat mounts serve a dual role as both an oil pass-through, and seat shock mount. The oil tank is hidden in the leather side saddle bag. The wheels are Fat Daddy Spokes (21" front and 18" rear) wrapped in Avon tires. The 180 mm rear tire is shielded by a hand made tail dragger fender with hand made fender struts plated in black nickel. Both front and rear brakes boast considerable stopping power with hand forged mounting brackets. The starter handle is a antique trucker shift knob and the rear tail light is an authentic, vintage World War 2 microphone which was converted into a functional tail light/brake light. The front suspension is a custom Springer designed in house at Gravesend Cycles by Terence Musto, and machined to perfection by Boyd Motor Co. The bike has many fine finishes, ranging from top quality gloss black powder coating to high end black nickel plating. The paint is snakebite green pearl with purple flames and a red pinstripe. Only 1,000 miles are on the bike from testing/tuning. This bike was hand crafted in the USA, using only the finest parts and is sure to grab the attention of everyone who sees it.

This is a quality machine built in a professional shop and featured in a national magazine. Note as well that the bike has a clean NYS title, and is titled as a Gravesend bike, not a "special construction."

I am the original owner. The bike is in pristine condition and being sold as is. There are no warranties given or implied. There are minor paint chips (5-8 of them) on the frame from regular use/riding.

Buyer is responsible for shipping. Any questions call Terence - 518-330-8888.

American Chopper Welcomes Sarah Palin

Thu, 30 Apr 2009

TLC’s American Chopper will be featuring Sarah Palin airing tonight at 9pm.  The Orange County Choppers crew has decided to dedicate tonight’s show to celebrate the 50-year anniversary since Alaska became a state by building a custom chopper to honor the special occasion. Paul Teutul Sr. claims he was initially nervous before the interview but felt Palin was “a real down to earth person to talk to”.
