1960 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper on 2040-motos
Pelham, New Hampshire, United States
Chopper Chopper description
Up for Bid's is a 1960 Harley Davidson Panhead total custom chopper. This bike was built from a 1960 pan motor with a pre 1954 rigid wishbone frame, customized with a 14 over front end with custom wheels and paint. Most of the parts I custom hand made. There is a 1965 primary and electric start four speed transmission. This bike ran awesome and was a real looker. As can be seen from pictures it was in a minor accident due to being cut off and bent the front end so it will need some repairs in order to be put back on the road. When I built this bike for a friend of mine it was an attention grabber and with some work it could be again. The motor ran very good and all worked as it should and still ran after the accident but kind of lost interest for a few years now. I'm just looking to pass it on to the next rider. This would make an awesome project and as can be seen in pictures there is some pitted chrome and minor dents in no way is this bike being sold as a ready to ride bike. There are some extra parts (starter solenoid's, oil filters and such) that will go with the bike. New Hampshire is a non title state, bike will be sold with registration and Bill of Sale (Sold As-Is with no warranty and no Return so PLEASE check out pictures carefully before you Bid as they are part of my description). Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost's, Local pick-up is welcome.

The Ride of a Lifetime by Paul Teutul Sr.
Tue, 10 Mar 2009According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. If you don’t already know who Paul Teutul Sr.
