Chopper Bar Chopper description

2005 Swift Bar Chopper. Swift Motorcycle company manufactured custom motorcycles in Arizona for nearly 15 years. Swift Motorcycle is a sister company of Swift Transportation. This is NOT a custom built bike. It is a manufactured bike with a VIN number.

SPECS:
S&S 117 ci. motor (1917cc) with approximately 111hp. Motor freshened up at 10,000 miles with new valves & heads work done by S&S motors. New rings, Rev-Tech coils & wires installed. Two year old battery, always on tender and taken in house during winter months. Left side chain drive coupled to a Baker 6 speed transmission. Flawless performance with solid shifts. Performance Machine brakes. Pads replaced less than 1,000 miles ago. All fluids replaced yearly. Upgraded Vance & Hines exhaust & intake. Engine refreshed at "Street is Neat", in Oslo, MN by certified Harley mechanic. Engine runs like a swiss watch. Absolutely NO issues at all.

Paint is great with a few small nicks. Nothing major. Few small pieces of chrome bubbling on primary cover. The bike is a driver, not a pristine show piece.

Soft tail rear suspension that works great. Although the bike appears to be a "hard tail", it is not.
New Metzler Marathon tires (the best ride & longevity) 2,112 miles ago. Installed by Metzler mechanic in Sturgis, SD. Custom made side leather bag and manufactured front fork tool pouch.

Selling due to limited time available to ride now days.

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Custom Electric Motorcycle [video]

Fri, 14 Aug 2009

Paul Teutul Sr. from OCC, once again finds himself in the spotlight, this time it’s for building the worlds first totally green custom motorcycle that was commissioned by Siemens.  Some features of the bike include: a clutch-less transmission, 27-horsepower engine and a top speed of 100 mph.  You can plug the bike into a standard 110-volt plug, takes 5 hours to fully charge and has a 60 mile range on a full charge. The Siemens Smart Chopper will go on tour this year to help promote green technology and will be auctioned off for charity at some point next year.
