THE SILVER BULLET -October 2013 Eastriders cover and feature bike

The bike is based off of a choppers inc frame that i bought in 2004.  The frame is the ONLY right side drive frame that choppers inc. ever built.  Nicky Bootz ( formerly of choppers inc. ) and i then moved the motor and trans mounts to the left like a normal left side drive chassis.  By doing so we made room to run the perimeter brake on the right side of the bike taking up the space originally  designed for the right side drive.  With the new found space we were also able to mount the two PM calipers behind the frame rails nice and tight and virtually out of sight.  I based the whole bike around a REAL 1961 HARLEY DAVIDSON motor that in turn allows you to tag and insure the bike as a harley.  Since the bike is tagged and insured as a harley you can also finance the bike through HARLEY DAVIDSON CREDIT.  We built the motor with all the best components, so it has plenty of power to roll on down the road and plenty of brakes in the front and rear to slow it down. The transmission also has what it takes, it's a baker 6 into 4. i I have taken the bike on multiple 4-5 hour trips out of state and it has performed like a champ.  Everywhere I go this thing turns heads and people want to stop and look at it.  Although the bike is a kick only bike the Morris g5 magneto it's easy to start, usually a few primer kicks and then one moderate kick on the compression stroke and your pissing off the neighbors. It sounds like a hot rod with the short pipes coming out in the center of the belt drive.  I'm not sure how much choppers inc. charged for there complete builds but this bike has a very fair reserve in comparison to what I have invested in both time and money.

The bike is not a show bike, I actually ride it so it does show some wear as far as a few scratches and some peg wear from the corners.  Choppers inc. designed these frames to sit low and they do scrub getting them on and off the lift and out of the back of a truck or trailer.  I have had a good time riding this bike around and it's now time for someone else to enjoy it.
