Selling my 2006 BMW F650GS Dakar. 6000 or best offer, 37K miles. All set up for your next adventure ride: has luggage rack with Caribou hard panniers, crash bars, metal reinforced handguards, Touratech low mud fenders and chain guard, new battery, and fresh registration/state inspection. Great bike for trails, adventure touring, or even just commuting. Has ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (can be turned off), electrical outlet, four gallon locking fuel tank, center stand, warmed handlebar grips, 21 in front and 17 in rear. The Dakar edition features an extra 3ins of suspension travel for tackling offroad rides. Very reliable, easy maintenance schedule. These engines are bulletproof and very efficient. I am only selling mine because I bought another BMW! If you want the bike shipped that is fine, but you will need to arrange that. I have a pretty crazy work schedule and can't set that up for you. New: Touratech Ambato Exp tank bag for BMW R1200GS

The touring accessory firm’s "Ambato Exp" tank bag has been on sale for a month but until now only in black or black and white. It features a model-specific base plate for quick-release attachment to the R1200GS, waterproof inserts and Cordura fabric described as “tear proof”.
2015 BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL Get Traction Control as Standard Equipment
Fri, 04 Jul 2014BMW is updating its big six-cylinder touring bikes with traction control as standard equipment and a number of new optional add-ons including keyless remote ignition. Previously available as part of BMW’s factory-installed Safety Package option, the Dynamic Traction Control system will now be standard on all 2015 K1600GT and K1600GTL models. The system continuously monitors rear wheel traction during acceleration, stepping in when it senses excessive wheel spin.
Isle of Man TT 2014: RL360 Superstock TT Results
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.
