Competition Accessories Steps Up Sponsorship of Foremos/Pegram Racing AMA Superbike Team

Competition Accessories, the well known direct merchant of motorcycle parts and accessories and Other Accessories has stepped up its promotional support for Larry Pegram and the Foremost/Pegram Racing BMW S1000RR campaigning in the AMA American Superbike Championship for 2011. In addition to increasing its traditional long-term level of support for the team, Comp-AŽ is sponsoring the distribution of specially designed (see image) 50th Anniversary shirts for several hours each race day from the Pegram Racing Transport / Garage area. A minimum of 1,000 shirts will be available for distribution at each race weekend.

BMW Motorrad USA Reports 7.4% Growth in 2011

BMW Motorrad reported a 7.4% growth in U.S. sales in 2011, nearly double the growth reported in the previous year. The 7.4% growth is also higher than the overall worldwide growth of 6.4% BMW recently announced.

As a motorcyclist I’ve made it my duty to stop and lend assistance any time I see a fellow rider that looks like they’re in need, a sort of paying it forward mentality for the many times I found myself in need of a hand. In most instances the rider stopped on the road’s edge had pulled to the side temporarily to resolve an innocuous issue, but occasionally a rider genuinely needed my help. In either case the riders were grateful that a fellow motorcyclist was checking up on them.
