THANKFULLY you're not looking at latest addition to the US Police force's motorcycle fleet - it's the futuristic machine that featured in the 2009 movie "Star Trek" .It's being prepped before being suspended mid-air in the "Born to be Wild: Vintage and Celebrity Motorcycles" exhibition in the Reagan Library's Air Force One Pavilion in Simi Valley, California. V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers

To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.

Michael Dunlop to Race for BMW at 2014 Isle of Man TT

BMW Motorrad UK has signed seven-time winner Michael Dunlop to race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and other international road races. Dunlop will be the first factory-backed BMW rider in 50 years, and will try to be the first rider to win a TT race on a BMW since Georg Meier won in 1939 on a RS 255 Kompressor. Dunlop, nephew of the great Joey Dunlop, was the star of the 2013 Isle of Man TT, winning four races and finishing second in the Senior TT on Honda machines.
