BMW Other description

2010 Bmw HP2 Sport, The Most Exotic BMW Ever Built! - Throttle up. Blast off with the most exotic BMW ever produced. Carbon Fiber , Billet Aluminum, Titanium abound on this extremely limited edition. This bike only weighs 439 pounds wet but still features a fully enclosed driveshaft and ABS Brembo Brakes. With Ohlins front and back you couldn't ask for better suspension. The best part is this example has only travelled 2500 miles and is pristine. This rare example is fairly priced at $20,995. With a staggering 130 horsepower, the HP2 Sport features the most powerful Boxer engine ever designed by BMW Motorrad. For the first time ever, double overhead camshafts are included in our famous opposed twin cylinder motor, kicking out even more revs. Making the HP2 Sport even more track-ready is new Quickshifter technology, which means faster gear changes without having to chop the throttle or use the clutch. Add a fully adjustable Ohlins sport front and rear suspension, Radial mounted Brembo Monobloc brakes, a lightweight carbon fiber aerodynamic fairing, not to mention forged racing wheels and tires and a MotoGP-inspired cockpit that computes lap times and other racing data, and the result is one of the most advanced sport bikes to ever scorch the tarmac.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Latest on my S1000RR

Mon, 04 Oct 2010

Not sure what's going on with the sound in this vid, but it calms down after a minute - sorry! As my long term BMW S1000RR does most of its miles working hard on track days, I felt an early 6000 mile service might be a good idea. A quick phone call to my local dealer (the friendly and efficient Pidcocks) saw my bike in the workshop the following week and back in my hands by lunchtime.

Man Sues BMW for Causing Persistent Erection

Fri, 27 Apr 2012

A man is suing BMW and seat-manufacturer Corbin-Pacific because a four-hour motorcycle ride gave him an erection that would not go away. The civil suit, filed in the Superior Court of California in San Francisco, alleges the plaintiff, Henry Wolf, developed a severe case of priapism after a long ride on a 1993 BMW motorcycle. Priapism is a medical condition where a penis becomes erect and does not return to a flaccid state.
