BMW Other description

Red and white BMW r1200s in immaculate condition. this bike is very rare. It was only sold in the USA for one year 2007. I searched a few years to find this. it is rare to find one for sale. It has titanium exhaust . magnesium heads, single sided swing arm , carbon fiber fender. Bike comes with two front fairings, one is white the other is carbon-fiber. This thing handles better then my harley , moto-guzzi, and even my ducati 848 , front suspension uses balljoints , handles better then any bike i have ever driven. It has grips that worm-up for cold weather driving also has ABS braking system for better control also cruise control .

The Best Bar in America

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

A whiskey-fueled writing assignment takes one man on an epic motorcycle road trip through the bars and taverns across the American West in this feature film.  The film follows a character called Sanders who rides a 1960 BMW R60/2 across Arizona, Utah and Montana. With help of fellow traveler and sage, Northway, and a variety of other colorful characters along the way, Sanders gets learns the way of the road and the zen of the bar.  The Best Bar in America is scheduled for release on DVD and iTunes this Spring. If you fancy watching a bike film before then you can always check out Visordown's Top 10 motorcycle movies of all time.

Hi-Def video of BMW S1000RR on the dyno

Mon, 15 Mar 2010

THERE'S SOMETHING rather cruel about ringing the nuts out of any bike on a dyno - a bit like poking a lion through the bars of a cage with a long stick... Anyway, not quite sure where I'm going with that one, so here's a rather lovely clip of BMW's much-lauded S1000RR getting a stationary pasting on a dyno. Not sure I'd be standing at the rear, mind you.

Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger

Mon, 25 Aug 2014

Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.
