BMW Other description

2001 Bmw R 1200 C - Phoenix, ABS, Heated Grips, Driving Lights, Engine Guards, Fly Screen, Side Cases, Passenger Seat w/Backrest, Beautiful Example - New for 2001! It’d be downright disrespectful (not to mention wrong) to call BMW’s R 1200 C just a cruiser. No cruiser you’ve been on handles with this much precision. Fuel-injection technology and sheer brute force pump out 71 lb.-ft. of torque. An agile antidive Telelever front suspension soaks up the bumps. While antilock brakes deliver quick, controlled stopping power. It’s more than just a cruiser. A lot more. And you’ve got to respect that.

Wed, 29 May 2013

Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.
