This R1200 C is a very well maintained bike second owner in 2009. Many service records available for recent service which include regular maintenance plus new tires, new ANTI LOCK BRAKES system, new wiring harness for front electricals and wiring sheath, all within the last 500 mis. Features include new LED turns signals; instrument upgrades including tachometer, clock and temp (not shown). Pictures show two configurations of seating with backrest on and off the bike; passenger handrail; saddlebag rail on or off. All parts in very like-new condition including original saddlebags with 1 canvas insert tote bag. Extras include OEM battery maintainer, original turn signals with spares, high visibility yellow halogen headlight (2), easy-lift stand, foot stand pads, tank bag, and bikini cover. Paint work is in exceptional condition with 1 blemish on front fender. Wire wheels have been recently powder coated and can been seen in close up.

EICMA 2013: 2014 BMW S1000R Revealed

Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage The 999cc inline-Four engine has been retuned for low- to mid-range performance, with redesigned cylinder head ducts, modified cam profiles, updated engine management and a 2000 rpm reduction in the rev limit. BMW claims a peak output of 158 hp at 11000 rpm, compared to the S1000RR’s 193 hp claims.
BMW Reports Q1 2012 Results
Thu, 03 May 2012We already know BMW started 2012 off with a record first quarter with 24,373 motorcycles sold, with an additional 2,642 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary. BMW‘s quarterly report now reveals the U.S. accounted for 3,429 units sold in the first three months of the year, a 47.9% increase from 2,319 units over the same quarter of 2011.
BMW Acquires Original Factory
Wed, 26 Feb 2014BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.
