1998 BMW R1200C, *New arrival* A good classic cruiser has just landed. This one is in Night Black with White pinstripe and has ABS, BMW leather side cases, BMW leather rider and passenger seats, tall windshield with additional wind guards and GG Technik passenger backrest. Very low miles with only 22,779 on the clock. Early R1200C models had a few chrome issues and this one has the same the usual pitting chrome on the wheels and flaking chrome on the side covers. Both of course do not take away from the enjoyment of riding these bikes. Our safety inspection is pending as is the service to get it up to standard. 2014 BMW C evolution Electric Scooter Revealed
Tue, 10 Sep 2013BMW has expanded its maxi-scooter lineup with a new electric-powered model. Officially revealed after a year of testing at various events in Europe such as the 2012 London Olympics, the BMW C evolution is now ready for production, joining the gas-powered C650GT and C600 Sport. The C evolution is powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor claiming an European Union-rated 15 hp, though if you really strain the motor peak output can reach 47 hp.
2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing
Thu, 21 Mar 2013With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. The swirly camo pattern does little to hide the new “precision cooling” liquid-cooled engine, easily identified by the pipes exiting from the bottom of the cylinders.
Intermot 2012: 2013 BMW R1200GS Breaks Cover
Tue, 02 Oct 2012BMW pulled the covers off the latest iteration of its popular R1200GS, revealing a number of updates including a new boxer engine at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. The German manufacturer has sold 170,000 units of the R1200GS since it was introduced in 2004, making it the world’s top-selling adventure-tourer, so BMW obviously has a lot riding on the new 2013 model. The biggest change for the 2013 BMW R1200GS is its new 1170cc engine.
