Victory VS. BMW Police Bike Challenge + Video

A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. EICMA 2012: Bimota BB2 Concept Revealed with BMW S1000RR Engine

Bimota revealed a new concept sportbike at the 2012 EICMA Show equipped with a BMW S1000RR engine. The Bimota BB2 concept is the first product of a new partnership signed with BMW that would see the German manufacturer supply S1000RR engines for Bimota. The S1000RR engine has class-leading numbers, with the 172.4 hp we measured in our 2012 European Literbike Shootout a 10.4 hp advantage over any literbike we dyno’ed for that shootout or the Japanese Literbike Shootout.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
