BMW R100 Custom Tracker description

This 1950s-style custom BMW Airhead tracker is the bike you & your dad would have built to stay out of your mother's hair!

Registered as a 1977 BMW R100, the motorcycle features a custom Boxerworks chassis, rebuilt 1000 cc motor, and rebuilt 5-speed transmission.

Other components include the following:
  • 38 mm Mikuni carburetors with pods
  • custom stainless 2-into-1 high pipe (available as a kit for other builders)
  • final drive geared 37/11
  • aggressive Continental TKC 80 tires (120/90-18; 140/80-18)
  • rebuilt wheels with robust 8 gauge stainless steel spokes
  • factory electronic ignition
  • modified /5 electrical harness with color-correct wiring
  • custom diamond-pattern solo seat
  • wide handlebar with bar-end signals
  • indestructible Brown sidestand (available for other builders)
  • custom paint job with weathered look
  • "77" racing plate
  • street-legal lights, signals, and horn
  • and more.
Ergos on this build make you feel as if you are sitting in, rather than on, the bike. The exhaust note sounds great and not overly loud. Mileage is simply an estimate: we have put some miles on it for tuning purposes. Any minor dings from road simply add to its character. Make this your daily driver and you'll draw a crowd everywhere you go!

We welcome inquiries and feedback. Thank you for your interest.

ABOUT USED PARTS

Many of our parts are from used motorcycles and are identified as such. They may have discoloration, rust, scratches, weathering, or wear and may require some cleaning and touch-up prior to re-use in your project.

Light bulbs are untested and some may need to be replaced due to their age.

Some parts listed are removed from the make and model indicated, but not all parts we sell are original. The buyer accepts all liability relating to the application and installation of parts that he/she purchases from doradoraville.

ABOUT PARTS FITMENT

We try our best to accurately identify parts and to include manufacturer part numbers whenever we can. Identification is sometimes a challenge and mistakes are possible.
