Yamaha YZF-R description

2007 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , I am selling my very well cared for 2007 Yamaha YZF-R6 Motorcycle. This bike has about 24000 miles on it and looks and rides like it was new. All factory recommended maintenance has always been done on schedule and more. This bike has always been very well cared for. This bike has never been laid down and looks like it was new. Tires are 1 year old and have about 2000 miles on them. This season I flushed the cooling system and put in new coolant. Oil and filter was just changed. The chain was just cleaned and lubed. The battery is new. K&N air filter was just cleaned and re-lubed. The bike runs awesome. It has custom grips and levers, in fairing turn signals for the front and integrated turn signals in the custom brake/stop light. The bike has a very clean look. There are no signs of wear on the paint or the seat material. The top aft fairing was just replaced. The original fairing had cracked from vibration so I replaced it. I have all of the touch up paint for the color of this bike. Let me know if there is anything else that you need to know and I will get it to you. $5,000.00 6086987536

The concept’s name suggests it may share elements of Yamaha’s XT250 and TW200 dual sports.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
